The Deye SUN-(7-12)K-SG06LP1-EU-BM3 is a high-performance **solar inverter with battery backup** designed for larger residential and light commercial energy systems. Available in 7kW, 7.6kW, 8kW, 10kW and 12kW models, this single-phase inverter combines solar generation, low-voltage battery storage, grid power and generator support in one flexible solution.
Compatible with lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, the inverter operates across a 40–60V battery range. Its self-adaptive BMS communication simplifies lithium battery integration, while charging and discharging current reaches up to 250A on the 12kW model. Six programmable battery charging and discharging periods help users manage energy consumption and take advantage of time-of-use electricity tariffs.
The series supports AC coupling for upgrading existing solar installations and allows up to 16 units to operate in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid applications. It can also store energy supplied by a diesel generator, making it suitable for backup power and sites with an unstable grid. Off-grid peak output reaches twice the rated power for 10 seconds, supporting demanding start-up loads.
With maximum efficiency of 97.6%, MPPT efficiency above 99%, a color touch LCD and IP65 protection, this solar inverter with battery backup delivers efficient operation and straightforward system management. Wi-Fi, RS485 and CAN communication are included for monitoring and system integration. Intelligent air cooling, low operating noise below 45dB and extensive electrical protection further support dependable daily operation.
