Deye introduced its latest innovation, the World’s First 20kW Low-Voltage Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter – Deye SUN-20K-SG05LP3 – at the beginning of 2024. The 20kW LV three-phase ESS has been showcased at large-scale exhibitions several times such as Intersolar Europe and SNEC, at which Frank Piller, Global Vice President of TUV Rheinland Solar and Commercial Product Services, presented the IEC62109 certification for the product.
This state-of-the-art 20kW low-voltage inverter adopts SiC components, offering unparalleled performance while significantly reducing product volume. This breakthrough enhances efficiency and sets a new industry standard for compact design.
The inverter’s 48V battery setup provides a cost-effective and safe energy storage solution. Its expandable nature eliminates the need for a BMS box, making it perfect for various applications, from residential to commercial installations.
The new 20kW low-voltage model boasts a comprehensive exterior revamp. The sleek, modern design is achieved by eliminating screws on the front of the panel, while the wiring area now features a flip cover for easier installation, operation, and maintenance. This user-friendly approach ensures that the inverter performs well and becomes more aesthetically pleasing and soft.
Durability and convenience are paramount in the upgraded design. The touchscreen, now made of Plexiglas, offers enhanced durability and a wider range of usage options. This combination of form and function makes the inverter a versatile addition to any energy system.
Performance-wise, the inverter boasts a rated AC output power of up to 20kW, with all models supporting 1.1 times the rated power output. Supporting the latest in solar technology, the inverter features a 20A+20A PV input current, accommodating the new generation of high-current PV modules. It also supports a maximum PV input power of up to 30kW, meeting the installation requirements of larger PV arrays.
The battery performance is significantly enhanced, with a maximum continuous charging and discharging current of up to 350A. This ensures efficient energy storage and retrieval. Additionally, the inverter supports flexible energy storage solutions, allowing for the free matching of different batteries to suit various needs.
